Emergency food planning & food security tools training – HSE Hospital Emergency Food Planning Web Seminar- MODULE I CHA Hospital Preparedness Program- MODULE II Hospital Emergency Food Supply Planning Guidance and Toolkit- MODULE- III The toolkit was developed to provide guidance to hospitals in planning for and documented emergency food supplies as mandated by regulatory requirements. These resources were developed for use by hospital Food Services directors and/or hospital dietitians. Hospital Emergency planners should also review and become familiar with these documents for joint planning purposes.

Hospital Evacuation Training – HSE Hospital plans for full or para evacuation should incorporate pre-planning and address the incident command and management structure established for its operational area (community). In advance of an event, Hospitals should understand and incorporate local plans and protocols that are in place to support evacuation and should establish Memorandum of Understanding (MOUs) with other hospitals, as necessary, for transfer and mutual aid during an emergency.
